On Tuesday, 9 January, United States Eastern Time, the United States Censorship Commission (SEC) published its official account number on social media X, approved all of the Bitcoin spot ETF listing applications on the United States national exchange, and claimed that the approved ETF would continue to be monitored to ensure that their compliance measures would always protect investors.

SEC President Gensler then, as a matter of urgency, stated on social platform X: “The SEC account X was invaded and an unauthorized tweet was issued. The SEC has not approved the listing of the spot ETF in Bitcoin.”
