According to the Chinese website Wall Street Journal on 13 June, the collapse of Bitcoin has deepened further this year, and concerns about the rise in US interest rates are causing widespread sale, with the price of this world’s largest encrypted currency falling to $25,000.
据报道，数字货币周末下跌后，周一上午在亚洲时段进一步走低，高于预期的最新通胀数据加剧了投资者对美联储可能被迫采取更有力行动来抑制价格飙升的担忧。截至6月13日15时，比特币报25297美元。
Following the fall of the digital currency weekend, it was reported that Monday morning was further lower than expected in Asia, and that the latest inflation data increased investors’ fears that the Fed might be forced to take more vigorous action to contain price hikes. Reports indicate that in Hong Kong, China, at the end of Monday morning, Bitcoin reported $25176, which is 13.8 per cent lower than US$ 5 p.m. last Friday. If this level is maintained in New York, it will be the lowest day-end level since December 2020.

The report quotes Markus Thielen, Chief Investment Officer of IDG Asset Management Ltd., who stated that the market was reminded of the comments made last month by Fed Chairman Powell, who said that the Fed must act more forcefully if there were no clear signs that inflation would decline.
Thielen指出，受到广泛关注的密歇根大学消费者信心调查显示，公众对五年后通胀率的预期从5月份的3%跃升至3.3%，是2008年以来的最高水平。
According to Thielen, the widely publicized University of Michigan consumer confidence survey showed that the public's expectation of inflation after five years jumped from 3 per cent in May to 3.3 per cent, the highest level since 2008.
