十年間，羅湖地區生產總值從2012年的1358.20億元增至2021年的2571.67億元，至“十三五”末每平方公裡GDP產出超過30億元，綜合能耗全市最低，榮獲“2021年度中國營商環境百佳示范縣市”第一名。
Over a decade, the gross production value of the Lake Lok region rose from $135,820 million in 2012 to $257,167 million in 2021, to over $3 billion per square dollar at the end of the 13th century, with the lowest combined energy consumption in the city, winning the first place in China's Business Model County in 2021.

“You can always trust Shenzhen, and you can always believe in Lake Lo. We all live in a happy house.” Recently, in an open new living room in the Montagnard area, Mr. Ton was pleased to say that Lo Lo Lo Lai's shack had changed to a secure home.
羅湖“二線插花地”棚改項目是深圳首個棚改項目，改造項目佔地約62萬平方米、房屋1347棟、居住人口9.3萬人，被業內稱為“中國棚改第一難”。2016年，市委、市政府決定將羅湖“二線插花地”改造整治作為消除重大公共安全隱患、改善居民居住環境的“一號民生工程”，由此吹響了羅湖棚改攻堅戰的號角。從啟動開始，短短幾個月，羅湖棚改團隊研究了28部相關法律、800萬字法規條文，組織摸底調查和研討論証數十次，形成了棚改政策、模式和標准。正是以羅湖棚改為契機，深圳出台系列政策文件，拉開全市棚改大幕。
In 2016, the Municipal Council and the Municipality decided to transform the second-line slum in Lake Roe as a “student project” to eliminate major public security threats and improve the residential environment, thus blowing the corner of the battle. From the start of the campaign, in the short run, the Roo Lake Shacks have studied 28 laws, 8 million by-laws, organized research and discussions on 10 occasions, resulting in a policy, model and standard-setting process. It was on the basis of the change of the Ro lake huts to a series of policy papers that led to a change throughout the city.
城市更新“多點開花”、攻克“中國棚改第一難”、羅湖醫改入選國家醫改典型、全國首創政務服務“反向辦”、全市率先出台規定對“打招呼”行為說“不”……近年來，羅湖堅持用好改革“關鍵一招”，各項改革多領域縱深推進。“十三五”期間，羅湖共高質量完成市級、區級和微改革達532項，改革創新績效考核連續四年全市排名第一。

醫療是民生之需。2015年，羅湖整合轄區5家區屬醫院和數十家社康中心，組建唯一法人的緊密型醫聯體——羅湖醫院集團。以羅湖為試點，深圳在全國率先進行基層醫療集團改革，成為全國醫改的標杆。羅湖醫改“刀刃向內”，不做大醫院，轉而“重基層、強社康”，不斷推動醫療衛生服務向“以基層為重點”“以健康為中心”轉變，達到“小病不出社康，大病不出羅湖”。醫改實施以來，羅湖構建的基層醫療網絡成為轄區居民最為堅實的“醫靠”保障，居民健康素養水平由2015年的13.57%提高至2021年底的54.99%。
In 2015, the five district hospitals and dozens of social centres in the integrated zone of Rohu formed a tight medical association of the sole legal entity, the Lo Lake Hospital Group. With Lo Lake as a point of reference, Shenzhen took the lead throughout the country in the reform of the base-level medical group, which became the country's standard of medical reform. Rohu doctors changed from “slash to internal” to “mainline, strong social well-being” and constantly moved from “health-based” health services to “health-centred” services, reaching “smallness without social well-being and greatness without disease in Lake Ro”. In order for Rohu's foundational medical network to become the most robust “medical” for residents of the region, the standard of health of the population rose from 13.57 per cent in 2015 to 54.9 per cent at the end of 2021.
教育是“民生之本”。“十三五”期間，羅湖新改擴建17所學校，共新增10510個義務教育學位。近年來，羅湖財政每支出10元中約有4元用在教育上。聚焦人口密集區域的學位矛盾問題，僅今年來，就有香港中文大學（深圳）附屬禮文學校、翠園東曉創新學校等一批融合國內外先進設計思路和理念的學校集中亮相，再度補強羅湖教育陣容。
During the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan, 17 new schools were expanded and 10510 new degrees were added. In recent years, about 4 of every 10 yuan spent on education have been spent on the management of Lok's finances.

“媽媽，我要玩AR‘切水果’游戲、要玩投影足球賽、要去‘一閃一閃’的天橋上……”這位興奮的小朋友並不在游樂場，而在筍崗立交社區公園。如今，漫步在羅湖街頭，一個個綠意蔥蘢、功能多樣的社區公園成為各年齡段居民家門口的“網紅”打卡點。“孩子玩得開心，公園裡的科技設備還可以幫助家長向他們講解科技知識，真正做到寓教於樂。”羅湖居民張佳淑說。

“以前回來晚了就得轉來轉去找車位，現在即便小區車位滿了，也能將車停到附近的羅湖區中醫院蓮塘新院區。”令仙桐御景小區住戶廖女士頻頻點贊的是羅湖在全市首推的錯峰共享智慧停車改革，在盤活既有停車資源的同時，有效緩解了居民停車難。

近年來，羅湖錨固“灣區樞紐”地位，搶抓戰略交通資源，重點完善綜合立體的交通網。預計到“十四五”末期，羅湖將形成“30分鐘、45分鐘、60分鐘”交通圈，即以羅湖為中心，30分鐘到城市外圍組團(坪山、大亞灣)，45分鐘到臨深城市中心(東莞、惠州)，60分鐘到大灣區核心城市(廣州、中山、珠海等)，基本實現羅湖對灣區城市中心的高速通達。除此之外，羅湖大力提升城市治理精度，對“三橫四縱”道路沿線進行視覺一體化設計，城區“顏值”整體“開挂”。
