Bitcoin has slipped since last year’s height of nearly $69,000, its market value was once halved, and its markets were once cold, known as the “dark winter” of encrypted currencies.

According to Nathan Batchelor, the chief Bitcoin analyst at SIMETRI Research, “the basics of Bitcoins have not changed much in the past week, and the current rise is likely to be a feast to make up for it.” He further analyses that “the market as a whole is still inclined to look down, once it breaks the $43,000 psychological threshold, or heralds an opportunity to move towards $45,000”.

Interestingly, Bitcoin is increasingly tied to the stock market, particularly the NASDAQ 100 index, which is inextricably linked to the science and technology unit, with a current correlation coefficient of 0.43, showing a strong correlation effect.
